Electrolux decided to bring home their e-commerce direct-to-consumer aftermarket channel in EMEA from a previous outsourced solution. Scope: B2C aftermarket EMEA for the brands Electrolux, Zanussi, and AEG in 19 countries, totalling 55 sites with over 100k SKUs.

There was a hard deadline when the previous solution needed to be taken offline, and it was obvious that it was far from optimal, demanding an extremely tight project timeline.

Langia was selected as a partner to implement and roll out the solution based on SAP Hybris on Prem.

Challenge

Faced with a strict deadline, both Electrolux and Langia undertook an extensive EMEA rollout, migrating all existing traffic to a new solution while ensuring search engine rankings remained unaffected. A three-stream project with a tight cooperation with Electrolux and a clear focus on go-live. The project achieved its objective. The actual rollout was done with 6 different drops/Go-Lives across different markets.
